Your landlord has transferred the management of your apartment to Home.
For you as a tenant, this means that from now on Home will be your contact for all matters concerning your tenancy.
Of course, nothing will change in your existing lease agreement and conditions.
Since Home will also manage the rent payments from the moment we take over the management of your apartment, we will only ask you to update your payment method such that rent payments are made to Home and not to your landlord.
You will receive an email in which Home asks you to set up a SEPA direct debit mandate with our payment service provider Stripe. Once set up, rental payments will be conveniently debited from your account starting the following month.
Currently, only rental payment by SEPA direct debit is available for tenants. However, alternative payment methods, e.g. for self-referrers, will also be offered by Home in the near future.
In addition, you will receive a confirmation from Home about the final takeover date of your apartment.
